About GTMods

A Community Mod Library for Gorilla Tag Players

GTMods.net is an independent, community-run catalog and guide library for Gorilla Tag modifications. Our mission is to help players find the mods they are looking for and install them correctly, with clear step-by-step guides for Meta Quest (standalone, via QuestPatcher) and PC VR systems (via BepInEx).

How We Check Mods

Before a mod is listed on GTMods, it goes through a simple review pass:

  • 1
Source VerificationWe identify the original developer release for every mod (mod.io, GitHub, or the creator's official page) so files come from where the mod actually shipped.
  • 2
Unmodified FilesWe never re-pack or modify mod files. Where an official link is no longer available, we mirror the original release file exactly as the developer published it.
  • 3
Install WalkthroughsEvery listing includes a written install guide covering both PC VR (BepInEx plugins folder) and standalone Quest (QuestPatcher) where the mod supports it.
  • 4
Fair Play GuidanceEvery page carries a clear warning: mods belong in private or modded lobbies. Using gameplay mods in public matchmaking violates Another Axiom's Terms of Service and can get an account banned.

Our Core Principles

  • Original Files Only: We never modify mod files. Download buttons link to the developer's official release on mod.io or GitHub where available; where the official link is dead, we host an unmodified mirror of the original release so players can still get it.
  • Anti-Cheat Transparency: We advocate for fair play. We do not promote cheat menus designed to disrupt public matchmaking queues. Our guides educate users to use cosmetic, utility, and gameplay modifications exclusively in custom private lobbies.
  • No Data Collection: We respect player privacy. GTMods is a purely informational catalog; we do not track player details, telemetry, or game accounts.
